Seriously? Google has a policy that requires one person to leave the department when a relationship is revealed between boss and staff? Gosh, I wonder how often that results in the boss resigning or moving to a department that he’s unqualified for?

I can hear them chortling in the meeting where they came up with that wowzer bowzer. Bwahaha! This policy sounds so #metoo compliant! And it gets rid of those pesky axolotl tanks/sex androids afterward!

I suppose some HR human might have come up with that in all seriousness as the “right thing” given the “legal climate today.” -insert your favorite ponderous or perky corporate voice- But if true, that just goes to show the well of infernal dumb that many such policy makers drink from.
